Welcome to a conference about Migrants’ Experiences of Forced Return from Sweden

We are currently finalising the research project ”Migrants’ Experiences of Forced Return from Sweden.” We will be presenting the findings at a Conference bearing the same title on June 12, 2015 at Malmö University.

We would like to invite you to participate. The Conference is organised by Malmö Institute of Migration, Diversity, and Welfare (MIM), co-finansed by the European Return Fund. The target audience includes migrant organisations, policy makers and practitioners from government agencies and NGOs, as well as researchers.

9:00        Coffee and Registration
9:30        Opening and Welcome by Hans Lindquist, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Malmö University
10:00      Presentation of project “Migrants’ Experiences of Forced Return from Sweden” by Daniela DeBono, Sofia Rönnqvist, and Karin Magnusson, MIM researchers
11:15      External expert Katrine Camilleri, Director JRS Malta, 2007 UNHCR Nansen Award Holder, and Human Rights Lawyer
12:00      Lunch
13:00      Workshop, during which the participants will have the opportunity to discuss the findings of the research.
14:30      Joint End Session
15:00      Coffee and sweet
