A month ago, the Department of Urban Studies hosted Sweden’s largest conference on Business administration. FEKIS2017 was held in Orkanen on 18-19 October and included not only two prominent key-note speakers, two interesting panels and over 50 sessions but also a concert by El Sistema, a children’s orchestra (in green below), and a big conference dinner in Niagara with a vegetarian main course!

The theme for this year’s conference was Business administration in urban society (Företagsekonomi i den urbana samhällsutvecklingen). The main part of the conference consisted of parallel sessions during two days with 300 participants from all parts of the country.
