The event is part of Åsa Ståhl’s and Kristina Lindström’s research project HYBRID MATTERs where they engage with materials and issues that emerge in our time. In this particular case they’ve made a prototype for domestic plastic composting with common mealworms, which have been shown to biodegrade Styrofoam.
