As a result, the Vice-Chancellor decided on some changes to the directional decision for the autumn semester on June 3.\u00a0 Please note that the main alternative for teaching and examination is still to do it digitally for the first half of the autumn semester.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At TS this means that we continue working with exemptions as we had already been instructed to, following the process that was introduced to you by pro-dean last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hence, any exemptions from digital teaching or examination should still be submitted to the Heads of department by Monday 8th June 11.00, then evaluated as a whole, and will be decided by the Dean on Friday 12th June.\u00a0The revised decision is attached, and you can read more about it here <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/staff.mau.se\/first-page\/puffs\/recommendations-regarding-the-novel-coronavirus-covid-19\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/staff.mau.se\/first-page\/puffs\/recommendations-regarding-the-novel-coronavirus-covid-19\/<\/a>.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to the TS researchers who were granted research funding from the Crafoord Foundation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reza Malekian, 400KKR<\/li><li>Radu-Casian Mihailescu, 400KKR<\/li><li>Arezoo Sarkheyli-H\u00e4gele, 400KKR<\/li><li>Martin Fisk, 150KKR<\/li><li>Henrik Hartman, 150KKR<\/li><li>Christian Str\u00e5hlman, 260KKR (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogg.mah.se\/ts\/2020\/02\/21\/mtm-research-at-the-max-iv-laboratory\/\">https:\/\/blogg.mah.se\/ts\/2020\/02\/21\/mtm-research-at-the-max-iv-laboratory\/<\/a>)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, MAU sent 37 applications of which 14 were granted.
