This year, Sk\u00e5ne will have its very own March for Science, organized by the association <a href=\"https:\/\/v-a.se\/\">Allm\u00e4nhet och Vetenskap<\/a> as part of a larger campaign for science called <a href=\"https:\/\/hurvetdudet.nu\/\">#HurVetDuDet<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On April 14 in Lund, participants will walk between MAX IV and ESS, passing by the site for Science Village. This symbolises Sk\u00e5ne\u2019s dedication and commitment to science in society and politics.<\/p>\n<h2>When and where:<\/h2>\n<p>Assembly at <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>13:00 on April 14 at MAX IV<\/strong><\/span> (Fotongatan 2 in Lund). From there the march will pass ESS before returning to MAX IV, finishing no later than 15:00.<\/p>\n<h2>#HurVetDuDet<\/h2>\n<p>The theme of this year\u2019s march is <em>Hur vet du det<\/em>? (In English: <em>How do you know that<\/em>?) The idea behind the campaign is to infuse this important scientific question into political debates where statements of fact often go misused and unchallenged.<\/p>\n<h2>2018 March for Science official statement:<\/h2>\n<p><em>The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity.
