We are especially happy to have Mårten Thorvaldsson and Stefan Andersson from SAAB in Linköping visiting us to share their experiences from industry and from collaborating with the Software Center.

Feel free to join us the whole afternoon or for parts of the afternoon – everyone is most welcome!

WHEN?
Date: May 10th
Time: 13.00 – 17.00
Location: Niagara, Room NI:A0607 (floor 6), Malmö University, Nordenskiöldsgatan 1, Malmö.

WHAT?
The Software Center is a collaboration between eight software-intensive companies in the embedded systems domain and five Swedish universities. In Software Center, researchers and industry partners work closely together to accelerate the adoption of novel software engineering practices with the mission to improve the software engineering capability of the Nordic software-intensive industry with an order of magnitude. Our goal is fast, continuous deployment of customer value and we aim for academic excellence and high industrial impact.

WHY?
The purpose of the Software Center is to accelerate the industrial adoption of best practices to software engineering. With arranging the Software Center Skåne Day we seek to further strengthen the connection between software-intensive companies in the Skåne region, to introduce new companies with potential interest in the Software Center to our on-going research, to report on our recent research findings and to learn more about how the participating companies experience the Software Center collaboration. Besides research presentations from the different research themes, we have SAAB Linköping visiting us to share how they see the research results being implemented in their organisation.

WHO?
The event is an open event to which we welcome all our current partners and also everyone with a potential in the Software Center and the research we do. The event is an excellent opportunity to meet other companies from the region, other Software Center members and researchers from several Swedish universities. We aim to challenge you intellectually and have you leave with lots of inspiration and concrete examples on topics such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, interoperability and data-driven development.

This is the fourth time we arrange the Software Center Skåne Day and we look forward to again welcome our industry partners, representatives from local industry that have an interest in what we do and researchers from the universities in the region. The event is a great opportunity to learn about the Software Center and to network with other companies in the region.

Read more on softwarecenter.gu.se

Agenda
13.00 – 13.15 Coffee and mingle
13.15 – 13.30 Welcome and opening (Helena H.
