Safe<br \/>\nthe day and register early, as we have only a limited number of seats!<\/p>\n<p>Date: 2014-08-25; 10:00 \u00ad 15:00 (tentative)<\/p>\n<p>Location: Lindholmen Science Park, Demo Studio<\/p>\n<p>Software ecosystems are commonly defined as<\/p>\n<p>\u00b3A set of businesses functioning as a unit and interacting with a shared<br \/>\nmarket for software and services, together with relationships among them.<br \/>\nThese relationships are frequently underpinned by a common technological<br \/>\nplatform and operate through the exchange of information, resources, and<br \/>\nartifacts.\u00b2<\/p>\n<p>Today\u00b9s complex software systems, which are often developed<br \/>\ncollaboratively by more than one organization, frequently imply the<br \/>\npresence of a software ecosystem. In this workshop we want to explore<br \/>\nconsequences this recent development has on software engineering practice.<\/p>\n<p>Workshop setup<\/p>\n<p>In this SEEC workshop, we will have a strong focus on excellent talks to<br \/>\nbetter understand the current state-of-the-art. We are especially proud<br \/>\nto announce two world class speakers in the area of software ecosystems<br \/>\nand socio-technical coordination: Daniela Damian(Canada) and Jan Bosch<br \/>\n(Sweden).<\/p>\n<p>The plan is to complement these two keynotes with 2-3 additional talks<br \/>\nand a extended wrap-up session with an open discussion to understand the<br \/>\nimplications of software ecosystems on software intense system<br \/>\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n<p>Registration<\/p>\n<p>Participation is free.
