The Dean reports that the university management is carefully monitoring the situation with regard to corona and when and how to re-open the university. As soon as decisions are made, you will be informed.

In October the Annual Academic Ceremony will be held and a staff will be awarded for their impact in different categories. One such is the Samverkanspris, or award for collaboration. This week the Vice chancellor invited all staff to a digital lunch meeting where she launched the final report of the ERA19 panel including the recommendations for continued quality development of the research at the university. On Thursday we had our quality dialogue with DVMT, covering quality aspects of  education, research education and research with a particular focus on ERA19 the department and faculty levels. Next week we will hold the dialogue with MTM. These dialogue meetings are an integral part of the quality assurance system at our university. Take the opportunity to ask your head of department for a report from the meeting!

Also, the TS management group, TS LG max, met this week and one of the highlights was the discussion on the Lärarförslagsnämnd, LFN or the teacher review committee. Next week you will receive more information about TS LFN and how to nominate yourself or a colleague.
