The programme ”Erasmus + International Credit Mobility”, ICM, aims to provide scholarship for students, teachers and admin staff outside of EU to do an exchange in an EU-country, but also vice versa.
Funding is available for bilateral collaborations via a relatively simple application with 4 questions. Malmö University send one application, in which all bilateral cooperation with several universities and at several faculties and departments are included.
Last year was the first year to apply within the ICM and we submitted an application with only one University (Flinders University) in Australia, which unfortunately was not granted. Australia is hard competition. Opportunities to be granted funding is significantly larger (and the budget is much larger) for cooperation with countries neighboring the EU and also Russia.
We hope, however, to submit applications with at least one University in each region (see attached).
So there are good opportunities to apply for funding for mobility, for example, with a former LP-partner, a University in North America who find it difficult to send students or start cooperation with new universities, with funding for teacher exchange.
• A teacher exchange should be a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 2 months.
• A student exchange at bachelor/master/doctoral level should be at least 3 months and a maximum of 12 months.

Timetable for application:
• December 2015: application support from the international office
• Mid-January 2016: deadline for Faculties to submit applications to the International Office
• 31 January 2016: Malmö University application sent to UHR
