Pedagogiskt utvecklingsprojekt

En hälsning till alla lärare från Daniel Spikol:

Dear TS and KS staff,

As part of the internally funded MAH project “Developing strategies for leveraging digital resources to support web-based course management tools” a brief anonymous survey has been created. I would really appreciate it if you could take 5 minutes to fill it out. The hope with the project is to begin the process of understanding how to better use digital tools to support education.

You can access the staff survey here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-opFwuqMVMZ8BURI25qQMmklhO6tVoi7yjLRdMEOFzA/viewform

Additionally, if your could ask your students to take a shorter survey at:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1DGm3P3u_o_kSWkg373W7rAk-zWIU3vUZ6xXzDiDIHkw/viewform

The results will be summarised into a report and initially presented on OCT 11-12 at http://www.mah.se/fokus

best,

-Daniel

The project description is below:

Pedagogiskt Utvecklingsprojekt

In digital repositories around the university, there is an abundance of available resources like learning objects, learning designs, teaching methods, and assessments mainly centered on course management tool It’s Learning. Therefore, to increase the quality of education in computer science there is a need to investigate how to build collaborative web-based learning opportunities by exploiting these resources. The process of leveraging this material is a complex endeavor with controversial motivational underpinnings and it requires the provision of support for accessing, using and packaging the resources with interoperable and usable and user-friendly tools. The aim of this project is to investigate together with teachers and students how to improve the design of collaborative on-line course materials that include learning modules, strategies for the design of these materials, and teaching methods and assessment through various tools. The main research aim is to investigate how to develop strategies and investigate different digital tools for exploiting existing and new digital resources to support web-based course management tools

THANKS in advance!

-Daniel
