As we continue to work on a distance, we want to remind all staff to learn and share tips and trix regarding distance learning, examination and work. One good starting point is this site at our staff pages https://staff.mau.se/first-page/puffs/distance-teaching-and-work/.
Also, there is a TS Canvas page where ideas are shared called Distance learning and examination. If you cannot find it in your Canvas-environment, contact Henrik Hartman at MTM to be let in.
Earlier this week, Jeanette Dareblom had her very first day as our new head of TS administration. She has received her work equipment and as the rest of us is now working and undergoing the introduction programme prepared for her from home. We aim at introducing her through this blog next week.

The Vice-Chancellor has recently made a decision with regard to the mandate of the new Lärarförslagsnämnd (LFN), literally teacher suggestion boards, or our academic recruitment board. At TS we are in the process of identifying possible members of the LFN and we urge you all to contact the Dean if you have suggestions of candidates. Click for more information about the decision and the mandate.
For the fifth year, The Stefan Bengtsson Research Leader Award will be awarded to a researcher at Malmö University who have made significant efforts to develop research at Malmö University and helped create an inclusive, creative and collaborative international research environment. We at TS are proud that two of the previous award winners were nominated by us and are employees at our faculty! In 2018, Daniel Spikol was honored with the award and the year after 2019, Carl Magnus Olsson was honored. This year is the last time the prize is awarded and now it is time to nominate a candidate again who hopefully can take home the prize a third time! To be considered, the nominee’s doctoral degree must have been awarded a no more than ten years ago. Now you get the opportunity to nominate researchers for the prize, SEK 25,000. E-mail your nomination to TS_dekan@mau.se no later than Sunday 10 May, together with a brief nomination letter.
