Students are invited to register for the 5-credit PhD course “Research Methods from an Information Systems Development Perspective” to be offered at Malmö University this spring.  The course will contain six sessions (March 17, April 7, April 21, May 5, May 19, and June 2), meeting from 1-4 PM. In the seminar sessions, foundational articles describing interpretive case study, design science, action research, and mixed-methods research approaches to the study of information systems development will be presented by participants and discussed with the goal of identifying the key application and evaluation criteria for the methods.  Each participant will critique a self-selected research paper and recommend a new or revised research approach based on those covered in the seminar.  The potential impact of the research method on the performance and outcome of the study will be evaluated.
