{"id":747,"date":"2014-11-13T16:58:10","date_gmt":"2014-11-13T15:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogg.mah.se\/nyttfranks\/?p=747"},"modified":"2014-11-13T16:58:10","modified_gmt":"2014-11-13T15:58:10","slug":"scholars-at-risk-speakers-series-in-sweden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogg.mah.se\/nyttfranks\/2014\/11\/13\/scholars-at-risk-speakers-series-in-sweden\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholars at Risk Speakers Series in Sweden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">On December 3, the Faculty of Culture and Society and <span style=\"color: #000000\">Department of Global Political Studies\u00a0<\/span>will host the first Scholars at Risk Speakers Series in Sweden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000\">Scholars at Risk (SAR), which is based at New York University, is a network of universities that work to protect scholars whose careers and lives are at risk because of what they teach or do research on. \u00a0Four Swedish universities are members, including Malm\u00f6 University.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"color: #000000\">Shirin Zubair is a Pakistani professor of literature and gender studies who is currently a visiting SAR-scholar in Norway.
