Den h\u00e4r veckan har till st\u00f6rsta delen spenderats p\u00e5 v\u00e5rt kontor p\u00e5 University of Cape Town. Kontoret delar vi med en doktorand fr\u00e5n Australien som forskar kring transport och har varit i Sydafrika sedan januari.<\/p>\n<p>Det har blivit en del sp\u00e4nnande diskussioner kring transportsystemet h\u00e4r i Kapstaden men ocks\u00e5 i Sydafrika som helhet. Vi har ocks\u00e5 f\u00e5tt tr\u00e4ffa en del andra studenter och doktorander som studerar p\u00e5 masterutbildningar inom transport och f\u00e5tt en hel del information som vi kan anv\u00e4nda oss av till uppsatsen. Annars har det varit fokus p\u00e5 att l\u00e4sa och analysera olika plandokument kopplade till transportplanering. Det \u00e4r ganska tunga dokument som \u00e4r allt fr\u00e5n 160 till 400 sidor, dock med mycket tabeller och grafer.<\/p>\n<p>Kapstadens trafik \u00e4r ganska annorlunda fr\u00e5n hemma i Sverige, och \u00e4ven om vi kan ha en del trafikk\u00f6er hemma i Malm\u00f6 s\u00e5 ska vi vara glada att vi slipper de k\u00f6er som uppst\u00e5r h\u00e4r i rusningstrafik. F\u00f6rra veckan stod bussen vi \u00e5kte med ut till Mitchell&#8217;s Plain stilla ett antal g\u00e5nger p\u00e5 den femfiliga motorv\u00e4gen och n\u00e5dde inte f\u00f6rsta stoppet f\u00f6rr\u00e4n efter en timme.<\/p>\n<p>Vi har tv\u00e5 intervjuer med pendlare inbokade n\u00e4sta vecka, och vi har fler p\u00e5 g\u00e5ng. Bland annat med tj\u00e4nstepersoner som jobbar med transportplanering h\u00e4r i Kapstaden. Den h\u00e4r veckan har vi ocks\u00e5 f\u00e5tt uppleva det f\u00f6rsta ordentliga regnet p\u00e5 flera m\u00e5nader, det har varit minst sagt efterl\u00e4ngtat h\u00e4r.
