Students’ festive appeal to help refugees

A seasonal show of charity is being organised by Malmö University Peace and Conflict students to help bring a little joy to young victims of the refugee crisis in the city.

Project Christmas aims to collect presents from students, staff and anyone else they can appeal to, which will then be distributed among the refugees currently residing in shelters.

Julius Borgqvist and Anna Grumstedt are two of the eight organisers from the international bachelor’s programme who are urging as many people as possible to contribute. The students will be at Niagara on December 15 when people can come along and drop off their donations.
