When you arrive in a different country than your own things will force you to change some parts of your behavior. For example here in Australia, I now have to talk English to everyone I meet (except to the Swedish people and the colony of Norwegians here) and that is quite a big change. Among other changes, the small talk with cashiers, writing essays in English and the need of having air condition in your room are three things that pop into my mind.
But some things do not change. Currently I am writing an essay that I due on Wednesday, well, currently I’m not writing anything on it, but I should. I always have a tendency to postpone my assignments until the point that I have to write thousands of words a day to make it. This is a habit I gladly would have left home in Sweden, but it seems to follow me even though I’m on the other side of the world. Anyway, now it is time for me to start on the paper… or maybe read a book, or checking up possible activities for next weekend.
