Call for Proposals: Funding Opportunities at CTA

CTA conducts multidisciplinary and close-to-practice research with the aim of improving working conditions and contributing to an equal work life. The purpose of this call is to develop and strengthen research within the centre. The application is open to employees of Malmö University and can have its starting point in different disciplines /research fields. We encourage researchers who are not currently affiliated with CTA to apply to contribute to the continued development of the centre.

Funds will be announced during 2020 for the following activities:

1. Internationalisation: The goal of the following initiatives is to increase the degree of co-publication, joint research applications and the development of international networks.

Researchers are invited to apply for funding for:
• inviting international guest researchers to CTA (maximum of one month), limit of two guest researchers for 2020;
• a stay at an international higher education institution (maximum of one month, reimbursement for travel and accommodation included, no per diem), limit of two stays for 2020; or
• active participation at an international conference.

2. Publication: The goal of the following initiatives is publication in international, high-ranking journals (see CTA’s publishing strategy).

Researchers are invited to apply for funding for:
• one month of research, limit of two for 2020;
• open access; or
• language review.

The application (maximum of two pages) should clearly state: (1) what the application is for, (2) how the funds are planned to be used, (3) expected results, (4) how it is linked to CTA’s operations and (5) overall budget. Also enclose a brief CV (maximum of two A4 pages) and a list of publications.

Applications should be sent to Sandra Jönsson (sandra.jonsson@mau.se) and can be written in Swedish or English. The application must be submitted no later than January 31, 2020. Applications will be assessed on the basis of the following criteria:

a) Connection to CTA’s research
b) Relevance for internationalization and publication
c) Implementation and expected results
